FAQ's

Let's start with an initial phone call where I can start to gather your vision. I will work on some initial estimates and communicate back and forth until we feel we have a solid proposal and timeline. Most saunas will take me between 8-10 weeks depending on equipment/material availability and delivery schedules.

I will then send you an invoice for payment and I will begin ordering supplies and moving forward with your build!

I contract with professional shed moving companies. They are a huge advantage because they have the equipment to conveniently place your sauna in many different locations. Delivery price is calculated to your specific location and is included in your invoice.

We build saunas off-site and hand-deliver them to you via a professional moving company. We need clear pathways around any corners and through fences to safely move your sauna to its desired location. As a general rule of thumb, having a foot of space between any obstacles and the sauna is helpful. SaunaHub or any affiliates are not responsible to de-construct or remove major obstacles.

We come fully equipped with hydraulic trailers and machines to safely and easily place your sauna.

The site of your sauna should be as level as possible. Saunas are built with pressure-treated bases, so you can choose to have dirt, gravel, or concrete at your site. SaunaHub or affiliates will perform minor leveling adjustments but are not responsible for major sloping or any site preparation.

Every sauna will come pre-wired inside so you can focus on connecting your main power supply. Please consult with your electrician to determine how to connect your sauna to your main panel via underground conduit. Depending on your heater size, you will generally need a 40-amp 240-volt circuit breaker, non-GFI.

Sauna heaters are designed for water to poured on the hot stones to create a wave of steam that's very therapeutic. I highly recommended that you wait to pour water until the elements have been turned off and are NOT GLOWING RED. You will prolong the life of your heater elements if you can keep the water off of red-hot heating elements. Warranty does not cover elements that are burned out due to in-appropriate amounts of water being poured on the elements.
