Why choose SaunaHub saunas?

I build my saunas so that you truly will only ever have to buy one sauna in your lifetime. It really is an investment. Investment in you, your time, your close relationships, and your mental and physical health. There are many "cheaper alternatives" available to you that you can easily google and compare, but I need to be clear that comparing my saunas to cheaper alternatives is comparing apples to oranges.

Walls

Cheaper saunas will almost always use walls made from single 2x4's. This includes all barrels, and many do-it-yourself kits. It can work, but it's far from optimal. Lumber dissipates heat very quickly and will make your heater work harder and longer to keep it at satisfiable temperatures. Not to mention harsh weather coupled with intense moisture has led to gaps and seams in other people's saunas. I don't want that for you! I build my walls to withstand the harsh and unpredictable climates of the Pacific Northwest, keeping you hot, comfortable, and durable. To the right is a picture of a cross-cut section of my wall versus the stand-alone 2x4. My walls include: 1) Tongue and groove cladding. 2) Foil layer (Retains moisture inside the sauna and improves heat retention, missing in lower-end saunas). 3) Fiberglass batting. 4) Exterior house wrap. 5) Exterior siding.

Exterior durability

My saunas are built to withstand the broad range of temperatures and weather cycles in the Pacific Northwest. I have spent the past 4 years building small outdoor structures and I include many of those building practices in my saunas.

Standard features include: Metal roof, LP Smart Side siding and trims, house wrap, Element Guard paints, double-pane tempered viewing windows, custom insulated door, pressure treated bases and more.

Many entry-level saunas do not include these practices as they are made to be shipped easily and at a lower price point.

Fully built and delivered

I designed this company to make it as easy as possible for customers to obtain a high-quality sauna with just one phone call. When you order a sauna from SaunaHub, all electrical components are pre-wired, and the sauna comes fully built to you. The exterior is completed and weather tight, the interior is finished, benches are sanded and smooth, and everything is clean.

Alternative saunas on the market come in at lower price points but are shipped to you in pieces and you must spend your time assembling, running electrical, calibrating the heater, ensuring all gaps and seams are gone. I provide a fully built masterpiece so you can spend your time elsewhere!

The use of moving equipment like this shed mule (picture right) makes installation stress free and allows me to get into smaller spaces.

Bench system

Many barrels and even saunas kits include only one level of benches. It's important to sit as high as possible to remain in the heat pocket that forms towards the top of the room, and this is only achievable with a double-bench system.

I use sturdy 2x4 construction in my benches that will last you a lifetime.
